Yuggera Playing Cards – Flora/Fauna

Yuggera Flora/Fauna QR cards – Memory Matching Game.

Includes:

• 60 playing cards – 2 x each of 30 flora and fauna cards with QR codes to activate how to pronounce in the Yuggera language
• Instruction card and bag.

This is a Yuggera memory matching card game for two or more players. It is for ages 3 and above and contains 30 different flora and fauna names in Yuggera (2 of each) and English. The game also has a QR code you can scan to hear the word. It can be used for Fish and Snap as well.

Instructions:

1. Shuffle the cards and lay them face down.
2. The player with the first name closest to M goes first. Play then continues in a clockwise direction.
3. On each turn, a player turns over any two cards (one at a time) and keeps them if the cards match, for instance, two moggil – eastern water dragon.
4. If they successfully match a pair, they get to keep the cards, and that player gets another turn.
5. If you have a device with a QR reader you may use this now to hear the flora or fauna of the matching pair. However, this may occur throughout the game to improve your language skills.
6. When a player turns over two cards that do not match, those cards are turned face down again (in the same position) and it becomes the next player’s turn.
7. The trick is to remember which cards are placed where.
8. The person with the most pairs wins at the end of the game.
