Handmade using New Zealand Possum pelts.  These large Possum Skin balls are a great sensory resource that can be used as a prop in a yarning circle to identify who can share and speak.  They can also be used to play Traditional Aboriginal Games – Marngrook and is a versatile teaching resource that can be used in many ways.   Large size Approximately 25 cm

Handmade by Yugarapul man Peter Lawrence on Kabi Kabi Country.  The Yuggera word for the possum skin ball is “pur’ru” and the game played is “pur’ru pur’ru”.
